P Capital Partners has provided a EUR 25 million senior secured term loan to 066 Fast Ferry Leasing Limited, aimed at refinancing current debt facilities.

066 Fast Ferry Limited is the sole owner of the high speed catamaran KatExpress I, currently operating on a 10 year bareboat charter contract with the Danish ferry operator Mols-Linien, serving the route Odden – Aarhus. Built in 2009 by the Incat Yards in Tasmania, the 112m long KatExpress I is one of the world’s largest high-speed catamarans with a capacity to carry more than 400 cars and 1,000 passengers per crossing.

P Capital Partners believes that KatExpress I and Mols-Linien provide strong value for both commuters, transportation and bus companies, offering fast, comfortable and fuel efficient crossing between Aarhus and Copenhagen.
