PCP IV has provided expansion capital to Better Energy, a leading Danish solar energy company. The EUR 80 million growth facility which was agreed on in March 2019 will enable Better Energy to execute on its large portfolio of solar power plant projects over the coming years.
Since its founding in 2012, Better Energy has successfully established more than 50 sites in Europe. Better Energy is fully integrated across the value chain and delivers a full solution from land to energy, including land acquisition, development, construction and operation of solar power plants. Better Energy is wholly-owned by the founders and the management team. The company is headquartered in Copenhagen with some 50 employees.
Better Energy has a strong track-record of developing and constructing solar power plants and is well positioned in the rapidly growing solar power industry. Operated by a skilled and experienced team, Better Energy is positioned to play a major role in the transition towards green energy in Northern Europe and PCP IV is proud to be part of their journey.
