In June 2018, PCP part-financed the UK-based private equity house Elysian Capital’s and management’s acquisition of Key Travel, a leading travel management company dedicated to serving the humanitarian, faith and academic sectors.
Key Travel is currently operating in 54 countries worldwide, with over 1,900 clients, providing travel and risk management services to leading names globally in the humanitarian and faith sectors, along with 40% of the top 24 research-based universities in the UK and a growing number of Academic institutions in the US and Europe. Key Travel has seven offices across the UK, Europe and the US.
Key Travel has a market leading position in an interesting and well-defined growing niche of the travel management industry. PCPs’ support of the acquisition of Key Travel is the latest of our long history of working with travel related companies including previous investments in Etraveli, Riviera Tours, Thomas Cook and Carlson Wagonlit.
